Last Mile Logistics is also working on some innovative projects to enhance the parcel management and the last-mile delivery options. eCommerce is expanding double digit (%) every year and parcel carriers should be innovative to survive.For parcel carriers it is becoming a "challenge"​ to be able to deliver all parcels next-day. For example, during Singles Day, Black Friday, Christmas and the months of May and June. Our solutions are designed to establish value added service in the last-mile. The smart parcel machine and the autonomously driving parcel robot can be excellent solutions to unburden the regular parcel carrier.Parcel4me is a sister company of Last Mile Logistics. It can be considered as the R&D Department of Last Mile Logistics.Parcel4me is working on a network of unmanned Pickup and Drop off machines with national coverage in Holland. It concerns an open system for ALL E-shops, ALL Carriers and ALL consumers. Communication with consumer and opening of lockers will completely be done by mobile telephone / smart phone. The system is suited for receiving and returning of parcels. First Pickup points have been placed from 2014 till 2018.Since focus is on Last Mile Logistics, activities of Parcel4me are currently in a low gear.
