The mission of the Coalition is to improve the quality of life for people in Northern Berkshire by organizing, supporting, and empowering the community. The work of the nbCC is done through three main program branches: 1) The Core, which gathers and spreads information through monthly community forums, newsletters, and public access broadcasts. 2) NBN (Northern Berkshire Neighbors), which involves a wide variety of neighborhood development and outreach initiatives. 3) UNITY, which includes youth-driven, adult-advised youth development programming that focuses on leadership development and the arts.
