Since 1931, the Good Friday Appeal has raised funds for The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) in Melbourne. Thanks to the support of the community, the Appeal helps the RCH provide life saving care and improve the health of sick children.Funds raised through the Appeal enable the RCH to be one of the best children's hospitals in the world by funding state-of-the-art medical equipment and technology, ground-breaking research projects, education and training to foster staff excellence, and patient and family-centred care programsThe Appeal brings together people from all sectors of the community to raise funds every year, culminating in a telethon on Good Friday.
