The FARAONE group was created in 1969 when Sabatino Faraone built and sold aluminum tools. In 1974 the FARAONE group evolved from being an Artisanal business to a specialised tool engineered Company. In 1979 Piero Faraone started in developing Aluminium ladders and the production phase followed. This specific niche was part of the internal company's division, however in only few years it became a business venture known today as Ima Spa. It prouds of safety, quality, innovation and sustainability. In short time FARAONE becomes the absolute leader in the working at heights industry, distinguishing itself by its high quality ladders and high-tech elevators. It also offers a wide range of products guaranteed by maximum safety. Two new production lines were started in 1989, aluminum ladders and scaffolding, both made according to DIN or European standards. FARAONE is part of the European Commission that has drafted the rules for the manufacture of ladders.
