Amyx Fine Jewelry Consignment Appraisal Consulting offer fine jewelry consignment and professional appraisal services in the heart of historic downtown Denton. Owned by Joe William Amyx, G.G. (GIA), ISA AM and his sister Lora Amyx-Gorman, G.G. (GIA), ISA AM, we currently serve as Denton's only accredited, USPAP compliant, Graduate Gemologist appraisers. We are trained to write appraisals for Federal functions and to USPAP standards.We received our Graduate Gemologist diplomas in residence at the Gemological Institute of America's Carlsbad, California campus in 1997. We are jewelry appraisers and are Accredited Members of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA). We have also earned USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) certifications from The Appraisal Foundation.We have worked directly in all major aspects of the jewelry industry: wholesale, retail, consignment, appraisal, quality assurance, design, fabrication, and repair.
