EUROCIVIS is a non-profit organization founded in Barcelona (2013) by an international group of young people whose common aim is to strengthen ties between EU citizens. It aspires to become a reference point, orientation and support platform for a deeper understanding of European identity based on integration, cooperation and exchanging experiences with other citizens as a way of participating in EU community life. To reach these objectives, we at EUROCIVIS develop drafting, coordinating, and managing activities for European projects and international networks, as well as training activities, events organizing, thematic seminars, workshops and international fieldtrips for students. EUROCIVIS researches, designs and builds databases for the analysis of European society. We consider the promotion of active policies in favor of youth employment to be very important in addition to promoting programs for the active aging of the population. We also work to promote European mobility through the international training of young people and by planning, designing, and organizing conferences that promote the finest knowledge on shared European identity.
