The Plant Memorial Home (PMH) is a nonprofit assisted living facility located on 28 acres on the banks of the Kennebec River in Bath, Maine. The Home was built by Thomas G. Plant in 1917 to provide safe, affordable housing to local seniors needing a home and assistance with activities of daily living. To qualify to live at PMH the resident would need to be able to pay for their rent and services for a minimum of 2 years, at that time they could apply to our privately funded endowment for up to 75% of their service package, thus helping their funds last much longer, while still receiving the care they are accustomed to from the incredible staff. Since the endowment is privately funded, we needed to find a way for steady deposits to be made to the account. With the help of Bath Savings Institution, we were able to borrow the funds needed to build The Cottages at Plant Memorial Home. These units are Independent Living and Private Pay. For your monthly rent, you will live easy with us. We will take care of everything except for phone, cable and internet. As a resident in these beautiful units with all the modern appliances and incredible views you would enjoy housekeeping, one meal per day delivered and access to our Director of Nursing as needed, just to name a few amenities.Call for a Tour of our Campus 207-443-2244 ask for Liz Wyman, Executive Director.
