KASA Swiss Humanitarian Foundation was founded in 1997 and aim to contribute to the sustainable development of Armenia by implementing projects in the following domains: Education, Construction, Agriculture, Tourism, Humanitarian. The foundation also aims to promote the active youth participation in formation and development of the civil society.and to support economic development in all regions of Armenia (decentralization) throughpromoting the alternative tourism. KASA Swiss Humanitarian Foundation carried out various programs in all parts of Armenia, particularly in the north, supporting in the recovery of the cities after the horrific earthquake in 1988 by rebuilding and renovating secondary and boarding schools, community centers as well as financed and provided psychological assistance, and implemented social, development, educational, cultural projects.
