Christians Working Together Ministries is a church founded in 1994 by Derick and Natalie Wilkes and is a teaching, preaching and healing ministry, located in Philadelphia PA., which places emphasis on walking in the Love of God and manifesting the Glory of God. The purpose of "Christians Working Together Ministries" is to bring the revelation of God's Love and Glory to the world through the empowerment of the saints, and is carried out through TEACHING, PREACHING, and HEALING. The Teaching, Preaching and Healing ministry concept is born of Matthew 4:23, and Matthew 9:35, where Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. The Love and Glory aspect of their ministry is based on Jesus' prayer in John 17. The great commandment is to walk in the Love of God and the great commission is to go into all of the world and preach the gospel. Christians Working Together Ministries, understands that it's by the love of God, that the great commission can be carried out effectively. Christians Working Together Ministries is segmented in the following manner.1. The Teaching Ministry – "Christians Working Together Ministries" has developed The Center for Ministry Development which currently meets weekly on Thursdays, to develop leaders and equip saints for the work of the ministry. Students that attend the "CMD" receive a certificate of completion upon graduation.2. The Preaching Ministry - Born out of "Christians Working Together Ministries", is the Love and Glory Worship Center, a multipurpose worship facility, where our Sunday morning worship Services are held. The Healing Ministry – "Christians Working Together Ministries" has developed The Healing Center, which will bring the Glory of God's Love, in healing, to sick people from all over the world.
