Paparelli Alessandro e Figlio draws its origins from the previous activity of the family. During the first ten-years of the century, it operated at a craftsmanship level in the field of tools, building and repairing machines for carpentry, for mechanics and house building. Later, thanks to the creativity and the good-established business experience acquired through the years, Mr. Alessandro began from the 50's, the production of casings and screens for water wells. At the end of 70's the son Sergio (current owner) joined the company and, due to the continuous commercial growth, Paparelli transfers the firm from Cantù to Carimate in a new 2.500 sqmts factory. Nowadays the factory has a covered area of 5.000 sqmts and an outside open area of 20.000 sqmts. Sales of PAPARELLI TUBES and SCREENS concerns national and international markets, as a matter of fact 35% of products are distributed on the Italian territory, while the remaining 65% are destined to the European, Asiatic, African and South America's markets. In the last years some products are not only marketed, such as Johnson screens type, but also have been employed for furniture, actually architects and sculptors have used screens and above all spiral screens to create unique works, such as indoor and outdoor lamps, furniture's details for bars, restaurants and big spaces. Paparelli is very environmentally aware and sensible to the issue of energy saving. It has infact a photovoltaic system, which allows the company to produce 482.216,00 kWh of total energy and to prevent 313.440,40 kg of CO2.
