Orme Limited ("Orme") is an award-winning, RIBA-chartered, architectural practice providing innovative design solutions and planning consultancy services for a wide range of domestic and commercial clients, primarily across Somerset and the South West region. Our team enjoys creating cutting-edge designs following the latest innovations in construction and technology as well as problem-solving in relation to construction projects; and we look to push the boundaries of both contemporary and traditional architecture without compromising on aesthetic quality. Established in 1995, the practice initially specialised in environmentally conscious building techniques within the domestic residential sector, including extensions, refurbishments, conversions and new buildings. Whilst maintaining this specialism, winning the ‘Build It Awards - Best self-build Architect' in 2013 and 2014, the company has diversified its portfolio and now has experience across many other sectors including: housing, agricultural (winery, cheese cave and dairy), mixed use live-work projects, community, sports and leisure centres, specialist high-dependency care homes, manufacturing plants, offices, higher education and retail. Whilst Orme works to achieve creative and practical design solutions, we pride ourselves on being responsive to our client's requirements and working with them in a friendly personable manner.
