It has the potential to be a transformative movement that benefits all humanity.But, the current Circular Fashion Economy model is problematic: it prioritises environmental and economic elements and overlooks social factors such as poverty, inequality, and exclusion. To prevent further social injustice within fashion, the transition to a circular economy must create tangible and distributed social value.CARMA strives to ensure that the Circular Fashion Economy remains inclusive as we transition. The underlying principles of our platform are built on integrating ownership and wellbeing into the circular fashion economy using web3 technologies. We will enable stakeholders to internalise and optimise social value when creating physical and digital fashion products to promote equity.
