The Psychoanalytic Center of the Carolinas unites three long-standing psychoanalytic groups in the North Carolina region: North Carolina Psychoanalytic Society (NCPS), North Carolia Psychoanalytic Foundation (NCPF) and the Psycholanalytic Education Center of the Carolinas (PECC). Our mission is to promote emotional resilience by understanding the mind through psychoanalytic education, practice and service. We offer continuing education programs and lectures, and courses in psychoanalytic practice for general attendance or in training programs in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy, leading to a Certificate of Completion. We also have a free call-in referral service to connect individuals with a psychoanalytic psychotherapist or a psychoanalyst.
