As of Feb. 1, 2017, Accreditation Canada International (ACI) is now the Health Standards Organization (HSO). A new organization - with Accreditation Canada as its affiliate - HSO is committed to unleashing the power and potential of people around the world who share its passion for achieving quality health services for all.HSO specializes in the development of best-in-class health standards, innovative assessment methodologies, and practical activation services and tools. AC plans and provides accreditation services to Canadian and international clients, helping people focus on what matters to them in their local context.An Ottawa-based, non-profit organization, HSO and AC have 1,600 clients in nearly 50 jurisdictions around the world, including every province and territory in Canada. The organization works across the health and social services ecosystem, employing more than 500 surveyors and 130 staff. HSO builds on AC's more than 50 years of experience working with health providers and community groups.
