Access All Areas makes award winning, disruptive performance by learning disabled artists. We work nationally and locally to develop powerful learning disabled creative voices that challenge public perceptions of learning disability, and bring excellent and innovative new performance work to UK audiences. Our work is fuelled by a desire to realise an artistic practice that includes and celebrates learning disabled experiences and voices, not as a social exercise but as an artistic necessity.We believe passionately that putting learning disabled voices at the heart of the UK arts scene will create an artistic canon that is made more vibrant, more varied and more relevant by including a range of perspectives.Our mission is divided into three strands: immersive productions, artist development and take part.
