Symons Ambulance has been serving southern California with one-stop, hassle-free emergency medical services for more than 20 years. Established in Bishop, California in the heart of the Sierra Nevada mountains as a 911 provider, Symons Ambulance has grown to include the following divisions: 911, Interfacility/Critical Care Transport, Event and Air Ambulance. Symons is different from many other ambulance companies in that everyone involved in the ownership of the company is either an EMT, paramedic, nurse or physician that actively provides patient care in the field. Symons Ambulance believes staying grounded in the field allows the company to provide better whole person care rather than focusing primarily on the bottom line like some publicly-traded companies. The company provides a unique experience due to the diversity of its management team and the geographic locations served. Currently, Symons provides ambulance services for the extremely urban environment of Los Angeles to the rural High Sierras in Bishop to the remote wilderness areas of the Baja, Mexico peninsula during the Baja 1000.
