KeshetUK has a vision of a world where no one has to choose between their LGBT+ and Jewish identity. Our mission is to ensure that Jewish LGBT+ people and their families are included throughout Jewish life in the UK. To achieve this, KeshetUK works within all denominations (Orthodox, Liberal, Reform and Masorti), cross-communal and non-denominational structures to engage schools, youth and young adult organisations, synagogues and wider community organisations about the importance of LGBT+ inclusion, then through education and training enables these organising to become more inclusive of LGBT+ people and their families. The charity was started by individuals who came together around a common commitment to working for change in the community. All our successes so far have been achieved by two staff members and our volunteers, both LGBT+ Jews and allies.
