A defining belief of the African Prisons Project is that transformational change in prisons will come through building relationships with, and understanding the needs of, individuals and enabling them to be change makers. Members of the APP family share their humanity with each other and with the prisoners and staff we serve. It is therefore important that as a Charity it is not just about achieving our objectives, but how as a team we achieve them. Our values are fundamental to how we work every day with clients, colleagues, volunteers, supporters and partners. They describe the sort of people we are, how we conduct ourselves and the experience people can expect when they come into contact with African Prisons Project. They are integral to what we do and how we do it, so we look for them in everyone we work with.
