Legal Ease is a high-end attorney placement firm established in 1996. We work solely with associates and partners currently employed at the most prestigious large law firms and boutiques in the country. While we naturally handle numerous local lateral moves for the attorneys we work with, we are particularly acclaimed for our niche expertise in the complexities and strategies involved in successful "geographic" relocation of attorneys (i.e., who seek a move to a new city/state).Notably, Legal Ease works only with attorneys who have already determined they need, for "naturally" occurring reason, to make a lateral move. This means we have made a conscious decision to never, ever, attempt to talk any attorney out of their current position and into a new one. Most often, the attorneys we place are leaving their present law firm/position for personal and/or professional reasons which have nothing negative to do with their current firm. Legal Ease has a strict policy of supporting the specific search preferences and goals of each candidate we work with. This means we learn what each individually attorney wants, and equally important, does NOT want in their next position/firm. Then, we honor those express criteria and preferences which means our job becomes one that is as much about ruling opportunities out for a given candidate as it is about ruling them in.We recommend qualified attorney candidates contact us between 3 and 6 months prior to their ideal move date for local moves, and between 3 and 12 months prior to their ideal move date for geographic relocations.
