Who are we?Youth Visions, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded for the purpose of creating a continuum of community-based services for children, youth, and their families in Cibola County which minimize the contact of those perons with the justice system; or, for those who are in the justice system, to make it a beneficial experience. We currently hold local grant contracts with the New Mexico Administrative Office of the Courts for the 13th Judicial District in which we are able to offer two programs within our organization for our county, Cibola County CASA & Come Visit With Me. Programs we offer:CASA ProgramCibola County CASA recruits and trains ordinary citizens within the community who become appointed by the court to advocate for children who have been taken into Child Protective Services because of abuse or neglect at the hands of their parents or guardians. The CASA Volunteer become a friend of the children in order to understand what is the best outcome for that child in terms of final custody and to determine if the children need additional services in terms of counseling, education, and health. Come Visit With Me ProgramCome Visit With Me is a supervised exchange and visitation program which allows children to visit or be exchanged between parents in a setting safe and neutral for all participants. This program currently offers visitations in Domestic Matters, Civil, and Domestic Violence cases when ordered by the 13th Judicial District Court of Grants, Cibola County.
