Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization that inspires readers, builds community, and expands book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led little libraries. Through Little Free Libraries, millions of books are shared each year, profoundly increasing access to books for readers of all ages and backgrounds. There are more than 100,000 registered Little Free Library book exchanges worldwide, in all 50 states and 112 countries. Our vision is a Little Free Library in every community and a book for every reader. We believe all people are empowered when the opportunity to discover a personally relevant book to read is not limited by time, space, or privilege. The Little Free Library nonprofit received the World Literacy Award and has been honored by the Library of Congress, the National Book Foundation, Library Journal, the Women's National Book Association, and others.
