Where women have their "little black dress"​, men should get their "perfect white shirt."​ A shirt that you can always wear, under a suit (with or without a tie) or casual. It is not my goal to add the trendiest shirt to the Dutch man's wardrobe. I want it to be the favorite shirt in that closet and beyond. A fabric that feels nice; the tightly ironed shirt that softens when worn and has that fresh, dry look. Back to simplicity, made with craftsmanship.The nameThe summer of 1943. Despite the war two brothers look into the world full of joy and anticipation. Fresh and young and wearing a bright white shirt. On this photo you can almost feel the fabric. Freshly washed, dry, crispy cotton, dried by sun and wind. Tightly ironed and put on crispy. These two young men with their sleeves rolled up, leaning on the fence, look straight into the lens of my grandfather's Leica. The young man on the left is my uncle Cees, the one on the right is Co, my father. I named my company after them. ceesnco, truly Dutch.
