Saving Our Youth, Inc is a non-profit organization created to help troubled youth reconnect with their families, schools, and communities. Founded in 2010, the organization is designed to provide a learning environment that will help youth be re-integrated into society and the educational system. The program offers tutorial and mentoring sessions that will help them become healthy youth; thereby helping to better our communities, city, and state. Saving Our Youth, Inc also serves as a referral agency working together with juvenile organizations and juvenile court systems. Our youth participate in recreational activities once per week. These activities are structured similar to the Big Brother/ Big Sister Program™ Saving Our Youth, Inc covers the cost and fees associated with the activities, and the Mentoring individuals are board approved volunteers. Understanding that healthy youth need a stable environment, we offer counseling sessions and financial education classes to the parents of guardians of individuals enrolled in the program. These classes are held one evening per week in one (1) hour sessions. Additionally there is no cost to families of enrolled youth.
