The IAQS Finance Society (IFS) is a student-run initiative under the aegis of the Institute of Actuarial Studies and Quantitative Finance (IAQS), an organisation affiliated with the University of Mumbai. The IFS is founded with the aim to inculcate and promote interest and impart knowledge in the domain of Finance and connect students with the world of financial services . We aim to achieve this by conducting year-around activities which includes trading and portfolio simulations, case competitions, industry-connect sessions, seminars, conferences, networking events etc. It is our hope to build to build a community of likeminded members who share a common passion and interest for learning about finance, as well as a desire to develop personally and professionally.
