Born in 2013, Habibi Valtiberina Association promotes and fosters initiatives for social solidarity in all fields concerning development and protection of the person, with particular attention to protection of minors. It promotes international cooperation for the development and peace, with particular regard to poverty eradication, to reduction of inequalities, to protection and affirmation of human rights. After a first period in Palestine, specifically in Bethlehem, where the Association still today supports children with physical and mental disabilities, from 2016 Habibi Valtiberina (HAVA) also works in Jordan to support Iraqi families, fled from ISIS persecutions, and the most vulnerable local community. In particular, its projects aim to the work integration of these people, giving them technical skills and improve their livelihoods, rediscovering dignity and psychological support.
