Torah Factory: In 1954 torah factory was founded by Mr. Cotseka for producing starch and glucose with a 2 ton daily capacity. In 1961 there was a Merge between the two companies under the publication program by the Egyptian Government in that time, to be Egyptian Starch and Glucose Manufacturing Company. In 2004 Egyptian Starch & Glucose Manufacturing Company was owned by Americana group which is considered as the successful group of companies.
