The Research and Development Society of Iranian Industries and Mines (RDSI) are the leading organization for development and promotion of the research and development in Iranian industries. It is a nongovernmental organization that has been assisting its members in maintaining their knowledge, skills in R&D and innovation since 1998.Presently (RDSI) has over 2000 members that are mainly Mining and Industrial enterprises ranging from MNCs (Multi National Corporations) to SMEs (Small and Medium sized Enterprises).(RDSI) is the biggest Mining and Industrial NGO in Iran supporting R&D activities that leads to economic development of the country.Through a joint partnership with the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, (RDSI) hestablished a Fund known as Iranian Industries and Mines Research and Development Fund (R&D Fund) in 2005, supporting feasible R&D and innovation projects by awarding loans & grants.
