Open Door serves with a mission to provide high quality care to all regardless of financial, geographic or social barriers. Currently, the organization has 13 clinics as well as mobile dental and medical vans. Through example, education, and participation in the healthcare community, Open Door seeks to promote the development of a healthcare system that meets the needs and enhances the health of all individuals in the region. In 2018, the 13-clinic system was one of 35 FQHCs in the country to be recognized by the federal government's Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) as a National Quality Leader.
