Azkuna Zentroa houses one of the city's most representative buildings, a cultural and leisure space with a varied offering for everyone visiting it. A building with a modernist air, declared an "Asset of Cultural Interest" by the Basque Government in 1999, where past, present and future all merge into one. The façades and part of the space designed by the Bilbao architect Ricardo Bastida at the beginning of the 20th century have been retained and refurbished.
