In 2023, Ballina will mark 300 years since the formal establishment of the town by Lord Tyrawley. This offers an opportunity for the community of Ballina and its environs, past and present, to celebrate and participate in a year-long programme of collaborative events and activities that will create civic pride and promote community engagement through honouring the past, and celebrating the present and inspiring hope for the future.Ballina 2023 is a Steering Group/Organising Committee has been set up to guide theplanning and facilitate the delivery of this year of events.
