The Create Columbus Commission (Create Columbus/CCC) is an engaged group of young professionals (YPs), who work to be the community's foremost thought leaders on young professional interests, experiences, and priorities. Through strategic community building efforts and a targeted YP grants program, Create Columbus strives to build a culturally and economically inclusive community in Columbus that enables young professionals to make a difference, and achieve their greatest potential.The Create Columbus Commission was established in 2007 by Mayor Michael B. Coleman, former Columbus City Council President Michael C. Mentel, and former Columbus Chamber of Commerce CEO Ty Marsh. In 2017 the City and CCC separated association to allow furtherexpansion, and independence in our work; in 2018 Create Columbus became a recognized 501(c)(3). Today, Create Columbus is a body of over 40 YPs.
