Foodbank is the largest food relief organisation in South Australia. We are an intermediary between the food industry's surplus food and the welfare sectors needs.Our mission is to deliver nutritious, healthy food to individuals and families experiencing hardship across metro, rural and regional areas in South Australia. Last year we provided over 4 million meals through a network of 586 charities and support programs in more than 490 schools reaching those who otherwise would go without. We are a non-profit, non-denominational organisation part of a national group of Foodbanks, operating in New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, Queensland, Tasmania and Northern Territory.
