LINKS – Catalysing Economic Growth for Northern Nigeria is a programme funded by UKAID through the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and implemented by Tetra Tech International Development. We are working to catalyse development of a vibrant and diversified economy in the three key northern Nigerian states of Kano, Kaduna and Jigawa, with these collectively acting as a powerful engine of northern economic growth. Our work benefits people and businesses, while also creating real market opportunities for the wider North. This will help create a more equitable distribution of wealth and investment across the whole country. As a catalytic programme, we bring together the private sector, innovators, investors and government, finding incentives and helping them capitalise on concrete opportunities that create lasting income and jobs in Northern Nigeria. By 2026, LINKS aims to raise the incomes of 3 million people and create 100,000 jobs in northern Nigeria, while increasing potentially taxable revenue by 15%.
