IXA is the expertise centre that supports Amsterdam researchers with converting their invention, idea or research finding into a viable, practical application. IXA is the alliance formed by the Amsterdam Technology Transfer Offices of AMC, HvA, UvA, VU & VUmc. By facilitating the interaction between academic researchers and external parties, IXA drives the transition of scientific discoveries and results into innovations and insights that benefit society in a multitude of ways. A process called valorisation.IXA assists researchers with collaborating and negotiations with companies and organisations, drafting agreements and patent applications, protecting IP, developing business proposals, market research, research grants and Consortium Agreements. All over: identifying the best valorisation strategy for idea’s, inventions, technologies coming from Amsterdam researchers.
