Battle Ground enjoys the charming ambience of a small town, yet is just 30 miles north of the Portland, Oregon metro area, which offers an international airport and world-class dining, theater, arts and shopping.Battle Ground Public Schools supports more than 13,000 students in 18 schools: seven primary schools, six middle schools, one 3-12 academy, two comprehensive high schools, one alternative high school, and one homeschool support program. The district has more than 1,500 professional staff and serves a population of 72,000 residents and spans 273 square miles in Clark County and the cities of Battle Ground, Brush Prairie, Amboy, Yacolt and Vancouver.
