We are a company that, together with over 300 hundred shareholders (all former minibus taxi owners), looks forward to becoming the pioneers of a new and vastly efficient transport system in South Africa. Piotrans strongly supports the sustainable development of the city of Johannesburg, not just from an infrastructure point of view but also encompassing an environmental aspect. Piotrans believes in integrity, honesty and responsibility as the cornerstone of its corporate evolutionPio-Trans currently has a total of 143 Buses, of which 142 are currently operational. One of the buses has since been off the road due to damages incurred during one of the service delivery protests, which saw the bus totally burnt to the ground. With these buses under operation, Piotrans is committed to deliver quality, reliable and safe transport services to all persons that travel daily between Soweto and Johannesburg's CBD.
