Cinco de Mayo Omaha (CDMO) is a 501(c)(3) that promotes culture, education and the embetterment of the South Omaha community. 2020 marked the 100 Anniversary of Mexican festivals in Omaha, NE that will take place in May of 2021 on historic South 24th Street that has been recognized as one of the top 15 Great Places in America that draws some 250,000 attendees over the 3-day weekend from surrounding states.The festival will take place along 24th street from F to L that will feature live music/entertainment, carnival rides, food, exhibitors, health fair, Miss coronation, games, concerts and children's section. Keeping with tradition, the biggest parade in the Midwest will be on Saturday. Also a banquet will take place that will recognize Latino families that have contributed to the Omaha fabric of life.
