For over 25 years, RMTC has formed alliances with various types of firms and associations throughout the world. We enjoy an excellent reputation within our industry and actively seek to promote a positive image regarding the profession of commercial collections. We are consistently rated in the top ten, pure commercial collection agencies in the country. RMTC refrains from any and all retail activity. As a result, we are not the largest agency, nor do we wish to pursue that goal. It is our belief that we can only maintain our integrity as an institution by remaining focused on what we do best.Upon last count, there were over 3000 companies throughout the country claiming to be licensed commercial collection agencies with decades of experience in the recovery of delinquent receivables. Unfortunately, this is not the case and many of these agencies reflect poorly on the industry as a whole. Therefore, we have included below a partial listing of our primary memberships and affiliations in an effort to raise your comfort level.Less than 100 commercial agencies can honestly profess to meet all these standards. Commercial Law League of America has a membership of over 4000 commercial law firms .The Commercial Collection Agency Section of the Commercial Law League was established in 1972 to improve the quality and reputation of the commercial collection industry. Only the very few who meet their criteria and adhere to their Code of Ethics are permitted membership. Highlights of that criteria are listed below: In business for a minimum of three years. A minimum of 80% of the agency's business is commercial. The agency agrees to maintain a separate Trust Account. The agency must post a surety bond for its clients protection. The Trust Account is subject to analysis semi-annually. The agency must subscribe to the CCAS Code of Ethics. Only 96 Agencies have been admitted to the CLLA.
