Alighieri Jewellery, founded in 2014 by Rosh Mahtani, is all about bringing people together through the universal language of jewellery. Rooted in Dante Alighieri's "Divine Comedy", (a story of a poet lost in a dark wood, trying to find clarity) Alighieri lies in the intersection between literature, art and fashion. Rosh launched Alighieri in her bedroom on her 25th birthday and grew the brand whilst working as an au pair for 2 years. By 2017, Alighieri had turned over £460,000, by 2019, £3.6 million, and by 2020, we had 60 international stockists (with no external investment) and was turning over £4 million. We are so proud to have grown the team to 23 incredible people. At Alighieri, we believe that the key to being sustainable is loving and taking care of the things we own, whilst supporting local trade and craftsmanship. Our pieces are hand carved and cast in London's Hatton Garden. Our relationship with our manufacturers, suppliers, team members and clients are sacred to us: this community is at the heart of every Alighieri chapter. Storytelling is at the heart of the brand – our mission is to invite people to confront their own narratives and use our textured and imperfect talismans to give them strength and courage on their journeys. Alighieri has captured the attention of the industry at the very highest level, such as the British Fashion Council, with whom we have collaborated. Rosh has been listed in Forbes' 30 under 30, and The Vogue 25, which recognises visionary women leading Britain with prescience, power, and poise.Alighieri Jewellery is worn by the most amazing storytellers, from Michaela Coel to Dina Asher-Smith, sharing their own narratives through our Modern Heirlooms. To learn more about Alighieri please visit Alighieri.co.uk
