MAX ESTRELLA was founded in Madrid in 1994 with the aim of promoting young emerging artists, as well as consolidated authors that had an innovative language clearly of their own. In 1998, the Gallery moved to a new space of 350 square meters located in the art gallery circuit of Madrid. This new exhibition space provided a great leap in the Gallery's project of developing of a wider program focusing on young contemporary international artists that have made a significant contribution to the challenges of aesthetics in the beginning of the new millennium.
