Our goal is to provide a delivered newspaper to Oxnard, Camarillo, Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks, and Westlake Village. The initial targeted households number 115,000 in these areas. The 24-page paper will be translated in English and Spanish in the same version. This will allow advertisers to reach both English and Spanish speaking audiences. Our online addition will be in English and Spanish and additional languages.The focus on the newspaper is ultra local news and a more conservative tone than traditional news publications. We seek to present articles that may not be transmitted by other news outlets.We also are supremely focused on highlighting and promoting local business to our readers. Our goal is to help readers see that local companies may be a better alternative than online and non-local providers of services and products.We seek to highlight these companies through articles and advertisements. In our section entitled "Showcase," we offer an area for advertisers to be showcased either through an article format or a business profile format. A business profile format may be best for companies that do not want to be the subject of an article on their business but prefer to provide the details of what services or products they offer.To also promote purchasing of products through classifieds and advertisements, we have an online section entitled, "Things I Can Buy" where we display products by categories for readers to be able to scroll through online.
