Public Wise is a non-partisan organization formed in 2019 with the mission to create a government that reflects the will of the people. We believe this is best achieved through expanded democracy access. Public Wise engages in three primary areas of work: Research: Conduct and publish innovative non-partisan research to fill gaps in the existing body of voter rights research and serve as a publicly available resource to advocates, academics, and policymakers. Capacity Building: Strengthen the work of frontline organizations engaged in litigation, advocacy, outreach, and education through grantmaking and staff support. Organizing: Work to improve voting rights policies and budget initiatives on the federal, state, and local levels through advocacy and direct lobbying.
