Care received at UCHC is not free – it is extremely affordable. UCHC receives federal grants to help eliminate disparities and to decrease barriers for those needing healthcare. These federal dollars supplement our budget and allows patients to see a doctor, dentist, or nurse practitioner on a sliding fee scale (starting at $20-$50 per visit), depending on your individual or family income. We encourage all people that are uninsured & underinsured, have high deductibles, and have Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance seeking a Medical Home to consider us as your primary care provider.
