DIY Showcases is a platform exposing up and coming artists through live stream performances happening on Twitch, YouTube and Facebook simultaneously. Originally started to bring a bit of positivity through music performances during the lockdown period, it soon became clear how this project has greater implications for emerging artists in terms of their discoverability, having developed a small loyal audience interested in discovering new artists and educated in doing so through streaming events.Other than streaming events, DIY Showcases keeps its followers updated about new music releases and trends in the industry as well as educates them about music in general.
