Specibois is the result of 3 generations of wood business owners with unsurpassed experience in the industry. This family's first company,Leo Cauchon Ltd, had sawmills,kilns & sustainable forestry operations.After selling to Donohue (now Resolu Group),the experienced entrepreneurs decided to open a new & unique type of wood store. A store that would bring wood in the center of home owners'​ designs, where architects, builders or designers could bring an idea and have it manufactured exactly how they want. Spécibois was born.They built a passionate specialized team and the business grew strong by providing expert advice and customized wood products and materials to their customers who would soon become as passionate as they are about incorporating wood in their projects,creations, decors, designs, furniture and even artwork.The increasing interest and demand for their custom designed wood works now extends to housing, architecture, construction, transport, landscaping, and many other fields.The family also owns private land from which they harvest trees for specific client's needs, under a sustainable forestry management program.Specibois has become well known as '​'The'​'​ store to get advice, find the right product and get the help needed from a very knowledgeable and helpful sales team . It keeps growing in sales and in product diversity and availability.Over the years, they have added a private label wood treatment to their offerings along with complementary services such as carpentry, repair, design, custom fabrication & production.Today Specibois'​ team includes skilled workers from all ages, from student trainees to soon to be retirees carefully teaching and transferring knowledge to the new generation.Their mission & the reason for their success is to always make sure they fully understand their customers'​ needs & make the Specibois Experience as pleasant as possible & rewarding as they take home the perfectly manufactured results of their own idea.
