The beginning of what is today Engø Gård was Pihl's Pension - one of Tjøme's many summer boarding houses. It was the romantic Frithjof Pihl and his sister Daisy who opened a guest house on Engø in 1924. Frithjof's English wife Babs added British charm and elegance to the place. The same atmosphere lingers and is described by many as the "Engø feeling". today, Engø Gård Hotel & Restaurant is a rural hotel with a renowned gourmet restaurant. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and a 4-7 course gourmet menu are served all year round. Tables can be booked for all meals even without accommodation at the hotel. Engø Gård also has beautiful conference rooms, function rooms and a fantastic area - it is also possible to rent the whole farm exclusively, including all the 47 hotel rooms and other rooms. It is popularly used for events, leadership gatherings, birthday celebrations and weddings Welcome to us! Team Engø Gård
