A Barcelona based company. ARQUIMA makes modular wood construction: houses, different kinds of buildings, all under the highest European quality standards, green and sustainable materials. ARQUIMA's mission is to offer a sustainable alternative for building construction, respecting the environment and being energy efficient in order to reduce the excessive consumption of energy and to reduce the emissions of CO2 in our planet. These results are possible by using material like wood, which comes from sustainably managed forests, with minimal transformation energy costs and minimal CO2 emissions, to construct buildings with nearly zero energy consumption (NZEB: Nearly Zero-Energy Buildings). Our vision consists of becoming a world leading export company through our continuous innovation in modular construction systems, always using sustainable materials and manufacturing buildings with zero (ZEB) or nearly zero (NZEB) energy consumption. Additionally, we work to introduce the highest energy efficiency standards into our buildings and certify them with the most competent international certifying entities like Leed, Bream, GBC and Passivhaus Institut.
