The solution rests with the ability of the engineer to locate those faults but he /she needs equally sophisticated and technically advanced tools to effectively resolve problems.Bi Communications has and continues to research and develop such products to keep pace with progress.BI Communications is a family run business founded in 1982 to manufacture cable assemblies. From this small beginning our products today have global recognition in markets as diverse as telecommunications, power and data communication networks mining and robotics.Our mantra is "innovation through technology". We do not invent the technology but use the latest development in microprocessor technology to design and built world class, affordable quality products. Research and Development continues to be an important and essential part of the company's operation .Advances in technology creates our next generation of test equipment but also enables us to enhance the performance of existing cable fault location products. Hardware and software development is undertaken at the Basildon premises. All products are designed and manufactured "in house" . Components are purchased from UK manufacturers. This approach has given BI Communications complete control over the manufacturing cycle , quality , supply and distribution. We are therefore able to offer with confidence a three year manufacturers warranty on all of our fault location test equipment .We believe in a policy of "localisation " and work closely with global distributors . Requests by the customer for adaptation to software or hardware has expanded the application of our cable fault location equipment in areas such as the ability to track the theft of electricity.
