Since 1985 the name Rey's Pizza has been synonymous with phrases such as "Y sigo siendo el Rey," (I am still the King), voted as "The best Cuban Pizza in the United States," by the group Three Guys from Miami, and has been a Street "Elite" award winner. The first Rey's Pizza was purchased in 1985 in Miami, Florida, by Ramón Rodriguez.
