horizontal school offers spaces to learn how to facilitate, develop practices on the levels of self, team, organization, community or ecosystem, and to connect in a learning community.-Learn to facilitateAt the core of horizontal school lies a 1 ½ year long facilitator qualification course, providing a ground which you can build on. Learners can choose between different learning paths starting as a beginner or looking for ways to improve and get inspired as an advanced facilitator. -Develop your practicesTo develop the practices in specific fields such as project management, community building or organizational development, horizontal school offers monthly trainings which vary in their topics in a blended, online or offline learning format. -Connect in a community of practiceAt the heart of horizontal school is our open and constantly growing community, that co-shapes our ideas, approaches and learning formats. We invite our learners to engage in our community embedded in the diverse international network of MitOst to share experience and good practices and get inspired by others. horizontal school is inspired by 20 years of experience in non-formal citizenship education, and the International Facilitator's Education in the scope of the Theodor-Heuss-Kolleg, a programme of MitOst, encouraging youth engagement for democratic, peaceful and resilient societies in over 24 countries.
